The Lady Most Likely...: A Novel in Three Parts

The Lady Most Likely...: A Novel in Three Parts - Julia Quinn, Connie Brockway, Eloisa James

This was the first book I've read that was done by three authors that wasn't an anthology. The story went together almost seamlessly, changes happened at chapters where the story switched to different characters.

Ms Quinn started our adventure with Gwendolyn & Alec. In typical Julia Quinn fashion, she had me laughing through the first section of the book. Her characters were funny and well written. I love the interaction between the characters, she makes them relateable. This was my favorite of the three 'stories'.

New author to me, Ms Brockway was second. This was the story of Katherine & Neill. At first I didn't really like Neill, but came to understand him. This was my first time reading Connie, and I have to say I was impressed! Her characters were fiesty, fun and memorable. She has definately been added to my authors to watch for list.

And finally we have Ms James. This was my least favorite section of the story. I really love Eloisa James' novels, so this was a bit disappointing. This part of the story was Hugh & Georgina. Eloisa brings the story to a closing with a perfect ending for Hugh. Unfortunately for me it seemed to fall flat, it didn't have the *ta-da* I was expecting from Ms. James.

All in all this was a great read. Perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon curled up with a hot cup of tea! Definately recommended to anyone who loves Julia Quinn, Connie Brockway and Eloisa James.
