When Chelsea's brother locks her in her chambers and decides she is going to marry the horrid reverend who manipulates her slightly deranged brother; she takes matters into her own hands and escapes. She runs to Beau, a person who despises her brother and who might be willing to help her and take out revenge at the same time.
With her family on their heels they are racing to Greta Green to tie the knot. Beau and Chelsea try and keep each other at arms length but can't escape the chemistry they have. Between hiding in Inns and trying to stay out of sight these two have to learn to trust one another and get along.
I really didn't like Chelsea's siblings - they were nasty pieces of work. Along with the slimy reverend who plans on marrying and controlling Chelsea's independent nature. This made me cheer even more for Beau and Chelsea reaching G. G to wed.
Like any story there were a few things I didn't really like, but the good definitely out weighed the bad in this story. I found Chelsea a bit bossy and pushy with Beau. Despite this, I like that Beau reformed and wanted to be the type of man that Chelsea would want to marry.
I'm looking forward to reading the next installment in the Blackthorn Brother's series.
